The Ask
With ScottishPower you get half-price electricity on the weekend. How do we get people excited? By taking an everyday appliance and turning it into a madcap shopping centre game.
Our activation popped up in the Westfield Shopping Centre in London and in the St Enoch's Centre in Glasgow, and was the toast of the town, with queues spreading all around.
Each player got three goes to catch a piece of cushiony toast as it popped from our oversized toaster, which would garner them a prize. We also had a children's colouring station, in the form of an oversized butter tub and mini jam jars, completing our larger-than-life world.

A little further down the line we created another large-scale activation for ScottishPower, this time with the help of MG.
We wanted to advertise ScottishPower as an "Energy Pitstop" - one visit and you can be kitted out with all the latest renewable energy tech. And thanks to MG we were able to bring this to life with an interactive game built around their MG4 EV, with the car itself as a potential prize.
The result was a massive shopping-centre-based hub, which included our game plus a garage space where people could find out more.
